Rebreather ALFA has been finished!
We would like to introduce you our new rebreather ALFA.
As we have advised we wanted to take an advantage of proof fundamentals
and interesting components of various rebreathers and use them in the only one equipment.
So rebreather ALFA was developed.
It is established on fundamental utilization of two scrubers and on enclosed breathing lungs which are placed on back.
This fundamental was taken from successful mCCR rEVO.
The supporting structure of our rebreather is made of stainless box and integrated back plate.
Maximum rigidity of the whole equipment body was reached by combination of exact double folds,
various material thicknesses and final welding.
We wanted to eliminate number of tubes and lines conducted around the equipment.
All gas distributions are located inside of wing unit. The only central gasblok is used for connection
to open circuit of BOV, inflator, and external diluent source.
This solution helped us to eliminate tubes pulled along the equipment from the first stages of regulators.
We could use only connection to high-pressure manometer.
The breathing circuit is provided by default with BOV.
CCR hoses are connected by self connector to inhale and exhale lungs on the top of the supporting system.
The expiratory gas goes through two individual absorbers of CO2 which are connected by hollow cover.
Scruber units and covers are made of material Delrin which has congenial mechanical and thermal insulation attributes.
